I currently work on a recruitment website and soon mobile app. Features, maintenance, bugs, and getting the requirements are things I do daily — all backed by a BSc in Computer Science, finished with First Class Honours. Before this I was an ICT business consultant, doing the discovery and design part of software development. Sitting between business and developers, working out what should get built and how it should fit together. Earlier on I worked at application support, helping to automate things with Python and SQL. In my early 20s I worked in logistics, then started my own language school. Polish natively, English from growing up in Ireland, Dutch at C1 — which mostly means I can be misunderstood in three languages. Outside work I'm usually on a mountain bike, motorbike or, in winter, on a snowboard, and on clear nights pointing my telescope at whatever's up there. Indoors it's 3D printing, soldering, and vinyl.
